Hi everybody
Could someone give me the real dimensions of keyboard SteelSeries 6Gv2? I found on google this: 250 x 480 x 43 mm, but i don't believe that are good, because my keyboard looks very similar and it's much shorter (150 x 450 x 40 mm).
Thanks in advance

Those are pretty accurate.

A depth of 250 mm is unlikely indeed. After all, it's only about 210 mm for a Model M! From pics, I'd expect about 150 for the 6Gv2. Maybe 250 mm applies for the 7G with its huge wrist rest thingy.

The one on my desk is 17 11/16 in long x 5 3/8 in wide.
The back stands 1 3/8 inches off the desk w/o the feet up.
Hope this helps!

I don't know if the 6g is compatible with it, but the 7g has a wrist rest "stand" that it fits into. If they were accounting for that, then it could be the cause of that depth measurement. As far as wrist rests go, its the largest one I have seen.

So it's about 136 x 450 x 35 mm, just as I thought.
Thanks once again.

Any Mac users here? Using the 6G on a iMac with Mac OS X 10.6? What are your experiences? I'm considering a 6G to use in place of the Apple numeric keyboard. Sometimes the space bar lets out a faint squeak sound. Right now it's not. Odd.
Can you program the function keys for typical Mac functions like dimming the brightness of the screen? Volume control? Disc eject...etc. Expose...
It's good that the dimenions are similar too. Just a few eighths wider at 5 3/8". My keyboard try can only extend out so much making it suited for compact keyboards.
