Alternatively we could set up a group buy, saving us shipping...i'd be interested in one or two to be honest.

I could also use one, my homemade key puller just isn't very good. Given the original price, there is hope that I could afford one or even two.

Would be useful to know payment options though.

Group buy example:

5- CeeSA
2- Ascaii
2- Rhaullan
1- Rigs
1- Keyb_gr

11 units

44,59$ incl shipping without Tax!?
= 32,30€

2,94€ per Unit

2,20€ shipping germany
3,45€ shipping Europe

if i do the groupbuy these could be the prices (incl. a very small roundup):
6€ germany
7€ europe

i have no idea about the tax risk....
anybody?
but i tend to take the risk for me and not the other guys

still interested?

32.30 € with shipping to you sounds right.

It should be possible to send them with deutsche post brief for less then 1 euro each. Thats inside germany...europe would be 1.45 as international brief up to 50g.

Can someone that has one of these please weigh one, maybe you, ripster?

That way we could reduce the cost a good bit.
Definitely in for 2.

Worst case scenario, the zoll wants 18%=32.50+18%= 38,35€

38.35 div 11 = 3,48€ + individual shipping.

Isn't that the "Wanna scratch?" key puller?

Post by: CeeSA on Thu, 03 February 2011, 07:36:36
i would like to sent the puller in paddad envelope. i this case its (more) thickly than 1cm.
Until 2 cm ist 1,45€ .... but 2 cm is close for puller and padding...

i dont want to hurt my brain for 0,75€ shipping costs, so i would be save for 2,20€

@ Half-Saint - i dont know which variant the "Wanna scratch?" key puller is.
wether is like the Hooleon (more thin) or more like the GH puller from GH Spacesaver.
I expect the GH Spacesaver variant....

i would like the thin Hooleon variant
and the groub by is on the road 10%....

It seams that buying one directly from them is a cheaper option. In my case it is only 7,5$ and no risk with the import tax.

From what I remember, everything below 100-something € incl. shipping should now be tax-free.

Something like 6€ a piece still sounds affordable enough.

This kind of key puller is scratching your keys!

Not only that: it had been reported that it could destroy a key cap!

warning when the order is done is a unhappy time
i used this kind of puller, the thiner variant with less pressure and there are no scratches at all! the variant you post has much more pressure.

Wanna scratch? Wanna sniff?

If you sniff your keycaps after scratching them, I would be worried about you...

Stuff is there.

The keypuller is, well, pretty useless. Now I know why it's known as a scratching special. Gotta make my own then, I guess.

Blues are nice and clicky, thanks. Why, oh why did I buy this stupid 16 W soldering iron?! ;-( I can't even get the little wire bridge unsoldered with the thing, it takes a looong time to heat up anything. I'll have to see whether one of dad's old GDR-made 20 watters with big tip and seemingly infinite heat capacity is good for anything.
