Title: Keyboard Stencils for painting
Post by: BobTheTechDude on Mon, 07 February 2011, 02:09:40
Evening all. I am searching for stencils for my keys so I can paint them. Where can I find them? I was wondering if I could also make my own custom font stencils

I'm sorry, but paint or decals will wear off if you use it much.

I don't know about stencils.. but have you considered using stamps, or a stencil ruler and a good pen?
Decals could be acquired from a model (railway, rc plane etc..) store. They may also have decal paper that you could print on -- except that you can not print bright colours, or white.
I have seen decal cutting machines, but not any that has the precision to cut small stencils that would work for keys.

Stencil ruler and a good pen sounds like the only feasible plan.
