A big hello from Australia to all keyboard enthusiasts out there :)
Geekhack has provided me with invaluable information since I purchased my first mechanical keyboard around four months ago.
After dealing with the disappointment that was my first mechanical keyboard purchase (a DOA that cost me shipping back to Taiwan) I decided that maybe Australia needed a shop that stocked mechanical keyboards...
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you-
http://www.mechkeyboards.com (http://www.mechkeyboards.com)
MechKeyboards is working with Ducky Channel and are the sole distributor of Ducky keyboards in Australia. There are some exciting releases planned for 2011 and through your input we hope to continually make suggestions to Ducky in order to improve upon their products.
Cheers :pop2:

sweet jesus. Get a bigger range and good prices and i'll definitely buy from you.
-
Thats awesome. Well done >:}
Now you just need to promote mech keyboards to the Aussy audience. Hopefully they get it.
-
Nice, give auspcmarket a run for their money. On a side note, will ducky keyboards be the only ones you stock or would you be willing to expand to others?

Hey there- we're looking at getting more products (especially tenkeyless versions). Ducky however is releasing a new TenKeyless model soon so we're holding off until we find out more about this :)

That's the plan

We are still looking into this, but initially only Ducky keyboards will be stocked. There are a number of new products planned so hopefully we'll be stocking some new keyboards soon.
P.S
Has anyone heard of a Ducky ALPS....?

Nope.

We won't have Topre at this stage but will look at (hopefully) getting some in the future.
Added your store to the Geekhack WW Shopping Wiki (http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=Geekhack+WorldWide+Shopping+Links&redirect=no) (AusPC and StaticIce-Steelseries were already there).
Welcome to Geekhack!
My biggest advice would be to work on getting better keys. Perhaps even Double Shots as a $60 add-on.
Thanks for the add :) was wondering how I could get myself added to that list. Double Shots sound good and I'll definitely put feedback through to Ducky, but it seems that the people at Ducky love their PBT.
In other news, our limited edition DK9008G2 keyboards have arrived! With English only keycaps :)
Be sure to check out the site later on for these + other accessories!

picys :D *drool

I suggest working out a deal with OCAU. IMO it's the only conceivable way you'll get aussie computer enthusiasts buying from you. A link to the GH mechanical keyboard guide on your website probs isn't a bad idea either.
anyway, just my 2 cents.

I don't suppose you could get PLU ML-87s in soon :p otherwise I'll have to buy through obook :(
-
What is the chance of mechkeyboards stocking one of those beautiful white ducky 1087's with the blank key caps?
EDIT ok scratch that actually, can't really justify it...
-
Get some filco's!! How much is shipping to new zealand with your services?
-
Thanks for the suggestion guys!
Shipping will depend on what you order, shoot us an email with what you want to buy :)
In other news....what kind of Realforce do people want? ;)
P.s. Does anyone know how to get one of those dealer forums?

PM iMav.
Nice concise switch descriptions in your FAQ by the way.
It's easy when someone else does all the work for ya first.
-
Well, I did check yours versus his quickly before posting.
Maybe I should have read slower.
Anyhoo my Wiki is Bestest and has the advantage over both yours and OCN Mechanical Keyboard guide in that the force charts are properly labeled.
Are they? What is your reference? If you're referring to the blue Cherry diagram, I've yet to find an authoritative chart that I feel is accurate; though admittedly, I've yet to ask Cherry for confirmation, but given that their English datasheet for MX switches must be a least 5 years old, I haven't much confidence. There is a difference between mechanical hysteresis of the clicking mechanism and actuation and de-actuation points of the switch. In any case, mine have pretty EK colors, so they generate more "general fondness" despite the possibility that I'm incorrect:)

Thats pretty awesome.

I bought a Ducky G2 Tiger limited edition from Mechkeyboards.
packaging was good, and shipping was fast. Good seller, although i wish correspondence can be done sooner since there is usually some delay between replies usually by a day >-<;

ordered a ducky9008(b) from mechkeyboards about a week ago (apparently it started shipping on the 21st, tracking doesnt work).... awaiting arrival
-
The tracking for me doesn't work. Just says it was received at the office no updates after that.
