Post by: manfaux on Tue, 08 February 2011, 12:59:28
Quick sale here, Razer abyssus, used for about 30 seconds, everything original, has box, and an extra set of mouse feet ($5 value!)

Still has that plastic wrap on the bottom (took it off to take pictures)

Hopefully my photographing skills have improved:

$25 shipped to US48

Great mouse with the right pad!

reportedly the Avago sensor(which the abyssus uses) has horrendous jitter problems on cloth pads, but I've never noticed anything with the Abyssus, drawing straight lines in paint was a breeze.

how are these on aluminum pads? Also, for size reference, how big is it like compared to a one dollar bill? I'm looking to replace my logitech g9 mouse with a smaller and lighter one.

the avago sensor the the abyssus uses shouldn't have any problem whatsoever on a aluminum pad.

the abyssus is at around 77 grams in weight IIRC, here's a picture of the abyssus and g9 side by side:

Out of curiosity, do you know what sensor is in the Kinzu and how it compares / contrasts to the Abyssus?

Yes. still got it.

I have no idea what sensor the Kinzu uses, The abyssus has Avago S3888 I believe, I've heard that the Kinzu has prediction, other than that I don't know too much about it :)
