These are compact POS keyboards with a somewhat strange layout, full hardware programmability through a Windows XP utility, card readers, and a trackpoint mechanism.
I've contacted the seller and he has posted pics of the switches, they are black. In addition, I called KSI this morning and they told me that their 12XX series used mostly blacks, but some clear switches as well (don't expect any in this auction to be clear though).
These boards were used by the likes of RadioShack. The 12XX series was discontinued in favor of the mostly membrane based 13XX series, but some of the early 1392s used Cherry blacks as well.

Just curious, does the Windows XP utility work in Windows 7?

Not sure, I imagine it might work on 32bit systems, probably not on 64 bit though.

It's possible that the actual keymap generating utility is DOS only, so I imagine you need access to an XP (or 32bit Windows) installation to get everything to work.
