Hi I purchased my Filco MXBlack a few months ago and thought I would get use to the high resistance on the key strokes but I find that I should have gone with browns. I was thinking about selling my Black or trading for a brown but I went over my budget buying the black in the first place so I was wondering what do you guys think I could get for my Black? Or should I just try to find someone to trade? If I trade how do I know that the other trader will actually send the keyboard? Sorry if this is annoying to ask these questions, just not sure what to do. This is my first mechanical keyboard

Heatware is a way of leaving feedback for online forum members regarding how likely they are to live up to their word (i.e. ship something you buy/trade for/etc) based upon previous transactions.
Without heatware or feedback of some kind, you might be out of luck.
That said, I have a Ducky tenkeyless with brown switches that I'd be interested in trading for your Filco plus cash. Ducky is blanked btw.

I'd be willing to trade a customized layout (diagonal line layout) white filco majestouch brown switches, i really prefer the black switches xD as i currently use a filco majestouch black switch, as to your trading questions i'm not sure either how to make sure the other guy sends his either, maybe we could get some help doing this transaction if you are interested.

Well. I have never done a trade here, but on another forum I frequent, it usually is based on feedback.
For example, since you have zero feedback, and just registered, most people won't ship first or even deal with you. You would need to offer to ship first. That would alleviate some of the worries from the buyer.
There is no guarantee anyone will ship you anything. That's just the whole risk with doing any transaction online. But if the person you're dealing with is an established member here (or can provide feedback from another forum and validate it), there is no reason to suspect you will run into any problems.
As for the keyboard. It's really up to you. Trading might be harder, so maybe just offer to sell it. I don't know what the price is worth but I'm sure someone else could help you out with that.

I'm a similarly new member with no previous trades, actually registered just to post in this thread. I'd be willing to trade my Tenkeyless w/ MX Browns for yours.

Thanks for the responses I found them very helpful. I think I have decided to just try to sell it that way I know that no one has to trust me out right or vice versa. If anyone is interested in purchasing it I am looking for $150 and I live in US. I have the box and everything in mint condition. Sorry for those who responded interested in trade, I just feel uneasy about trading, I hope its not taken personally.
Thank you
