Title: Mechanical numpad
Post by: poco on Fri, 18 February 2011, 11:54:41
I recently purchased a Ducky 1087, and I love the small form factor. However, I do a bit of data entry for work, and miss having a numpad. Are there any decently priced mechanical numpads out there? I'm not particular about switch type, but would prefer Cherry MX switches. My budget is somewhere around $25.

Going to see if I can get Cherry ML 4700, used... Not too bad price at moment, but have to see if someone else wants it...

If I bought this it looks like I could change the switches without any soldering?

What type of key switches does it have? I love how the keycaps look. It looks like it would feel nice to use.

As you'd expect from a Cherry ML 4700 series board, it uses... ta-dah!: Cherry ML switches. ;)
