Post by: kidchunks on Mon, 21 February 2011, 12:47:43
Purchased a few months back from didjamatic and only used for a week. Just couldn't get use to the layout/size. :frown:

$80's too much for me, but does it have the geekhack key and bag and everything?

No gh keys, the bag and manuals are included.

$80 shipped seems like a good price, if you ask me.

Very nice board! I would go for it but the fn key at lower left does not work for me, I need control there.

Try to software map ctrl where caps lock is; you'll never go back!

True. After using my Model F AT for several months now, I got so used to having CTRL on the mid-left that I want to press it even on "normal" keyboards...

If you use the numpad a lot it's actually a very natural position.  I actually have come to prefer it there, and unlike most minis that do have control on he outside makes more sense.  At any rate it's fairly easy to get used to.

Thanks for the pointers on capslock.

I actually have a compact keyboard with the fn on the lower left since six month and can't get used to it, I had to put a bump sticker on the control key to use it. :-)

My conditioned monkey brain has difficulty adapting after all those years.

I'm interested in this keyboard, need some nice hacking keyboard for linux stuff (like vim), but: Do you ship to Europe, too?

How much would that be?
