Title: Ducky DK-9008 Problems
Post by: Denial on Thu, 24 February 2011, 19:29:55
I'm having a problem with the top row of keys on my keyboard. Every once in a while the w,r,y,u,p keys stop working. I'm assuming that something got knocked loose inside the keyboard but I can't figure out a way to open the damn thing without breaking the plastic. Anyone else experience this issue or have any idea on how to fix it/open the keyboard so I can look?

I owned both the new G2 and previous dk9008 ducky keyboard, but i never opened it :{

Fsbzz, Rickysio and Squarebox might have however, so you should private message them :}

Anyways i never had that problem, so you might be right that something got knocked loose. My guess maybe the part where it connects the wire to some sort of port inside the back of the keyboard.

There is not much that can "go loose" in a mechanical keyboard. Most likely a solder joint broke or worse, the PCB cracked.
