Title: Flat Windows Keys for Filco?
Post by: neo on Fri, 25 February 2011, 18:19:36
EliteKeyboards sells Majestouch Flat Windows Keys (http://www.elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=access,cherrymxkeys&pid=maj_winf), but says "These keycaps do not have the original Majestouch key coating."

My question is: will these keycaps look or feel substantially different from the rest of the standard Filco keycaps? Could anyone post a picture with these caps installed alonside standard Filco caps? What about the thikness/weight difference?

Flat Windows replacement keys are brilliant! I'd buy them, anyhow.

Didn't someone post the licensing requirements for using a Windows logo on a keyboard, and it required the domes? I wonder how they're making this fly. Presumably under the radar?

Just a guess, but maybe the license requirement covers the key when part of a full keyboard, not an individual keycap.
