I know, it's a nasty habit, but I have been a smoker for over 35 years! I'm 51 now, so that means that I've been smoking almost 2/3 of my life. I recently had an issue where my wife got pneumonia. During time, and afterwards, I took my habit outside so it wouldn't bother her. Not being able to smoke is kelling me, but my smoking is really kelling her, so I thought I would go back to something I tried a couple of years ago.
E-cigerettes are pretty intersting. They allow one to "smoke" pretty much anywhere, however the quality and taste of these little marvels are so varied that I have problem trying to figure out which brand to try. I had a complete set of one brand, Blu, that seemed to work fairly well. At first the vapor production was good and the refills tasted OK, but nothing very spectacular. The one thing I found that dissapointed me the most is that none of the e-cigarettes I have seen live up to their claims of longevity. The cartriges don't last nearly as long as they claim. I found that smoking/vaping the way I smoke a real cidarette, the cartiges last only about 1/3 of their claims. That is unless I inhale far less than what is required to produce an acceptible amount of vapor. When inhaling like I would a normal smoke, I get a decent amount of flavor, but at the cost of volume. I can live with that because refills can be pretty cheap, if you know where to go.
That is one reason I gave it up and went back to the real thing. I ended up selling my kit to a friend at work. I don't even know if he is still using it, since he has since moved to another city.
Back to my original idea here: I want to find what the best ecig is in terms of vapor production and flavor. Do any of you, my fine GH friends, have any suggestions on which make of e-cigarette you would recommend? I don't really care how long they are supposed to last. I know I'll never even come close to their advertised claims, but I am interested in the amount of vapor production, taste and overall performance.

blu?

maybe if you live in my country Indonesia.where tobacco production is still to be excellent
You will not be difficult to find a flavor you like.although it does to the quality I never get the best

I hear that v2cigs are the best. the cartridge and atomizer are one piece so the the vapor lasts allot longer. and the vapor is really think
here's a video

another really good one is the white cloud. It's really expensive though

E-cigs, just like microwaves, scare the hell out of me. They probably give you brain AIDS.
Wanna know how to smoke less, smoke healthier and have more fun doing it? Buy rolling tobacco. Industrial cigarettes have all kinds of chemicals in them, including perfume. Plus you can increase the size of your dongle 50% in just 3 weeks.

I have a N-Joy vaporizer and a bunch tips. I think I bought it for around $100. It was suppose to be one of the better ones when I got it.
Shortly after getting it I quit cold turkey. So it only saw a little use.
I would be willing to sell it for $30 shipped. It'll never see any use so if I can get rid of it I would like too.
The vapor was pretty good and I found that the taste varied by what tip I was using.

I've tried about 3 types of Ecigs and the best one of the 3 was crown lion. eh but in honesty they all kinda suck. If I were you I would get a hookah, lots of flavors and cheap to maintain. Only produces water vapor so you could smoke it anywhere. Just not as versatile as an e-cig

my friends only use e-cigs when they want to smoke inside. They all say they hate it and would have not purchased it if they can go back.

I quit smoking with e-cigs. They worked very well for me. I've tried everything, the patch, gum, etc. Ok, I have just tried the patch and gum but e-cigs was the only thing that worked for me. I haven't touched an e-cig in a couple of months and a real cig in much longer than that. My recommendation is to just start with a Joye Ego from Cignot (https://www.cignot.com/product_p/kit-ego-all.htm) and my favorite place to buy ejuice from was Tasty Vapor (http://www.tastyvapor.us/).

You can make your own e-liquid if you want. It's not hard. There are several reputable US e-juice "manufacturers" in the US.

This is a man who knows. Seriously, if you are at all interested in E-cigs do some reading at ECF (e-ciggarette forum). It will save you some money from the gimmicks like N-joy which is the same as a $40 KR808d or even worse a Blu.

As with every other method you have to want to quit. Secondly there are a few different types of e-cigs and like keyboards they are not all equal. Third, Blu sucks. Lastly, I loved my joye 510.

Are there e-Hookahs?
Makes me picture a pop-up ad that just has a small window off the corner of the browser - text in a sleazy looking font reading "Psst! ...Hey, baby..You wanta date?"

I actually made a decision to start using eCigs last year and bought one from Eastmall. I had no intention of attempting to quit smoking, just wanted to be 'healthier' - despite claims of it being dangerous etc its pretty obvious that they are *less bad* for you than normal cigarettes.
The Australian government hate them because if everyone used them they wouldn't get any tax. The amount of tax we pay on cigarettes is fking ridiculous here - I wouldn't be surprised if cigs were close to 20 dollars US for a pack of 25 by now.
Anyway I liked the eCig and after about 5 months of using it I realised I could stop and did. I kicked the habit and had no intentions of doing so in the first place so there you go.

I never even heard of eCigarettes. When I saw this thread, I assumed it was something similar to "eCommerce" - and thought it was some kind of online virtual cigarette, smoked by a virtual 3D head - in some pathetic psychological way to get you to quit.
"Oh, my virtual head is getting wrinkled and ugly from smoking. That could have been me!"

I'm not surprised that you haven't heard of them, but they have been around for a few years. As you may have guessed by reading this thread, there are many out there to choose from. Quality varies tremendously among makes and brands as does price. If you are looking to try one, I suggest you stay away from convenience stores. Many sell cheap kits that will get you started, but the quality is just as cheap. I have tries a couple a couple of years ago, mainly "BLU" Cigarettes. http://www.blucigs.com/
I would consider the "BLU" a good starter kit. It even comes with 2 batteries, two atomizers and enough cartridges to get you going pretty well.
As a complete cigarette replacement though. that would be up to you. Some people have completely quit smoking by using E-cigs, and some like me use them to smoke where smoking is otherwize prohibitted, or around someone who can't take a smokey environment.
There are also many flavors of liquid too. You can find everything from regular tobacco to menthol to fruit and candy flavors like chocolate and vanilla.
The one I am buying this week is made by Totally Wicked. http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/ They have a model called the Tornado Tank that works great. It gives a lot more vapor than almost all of the cartridge models.
Check out the links I entered here. But above all, make your own decision.

Well, I don't smoke.
I did pretend to smoke back when they still made Popeye cigarettes with the red bit on the end.
