That G80-3000LQCDE is actually a nicer looking board then the G80-8113 that everyone recommends to people who want clear switches. No extra row of keys along the top, no extra card reader or touchpad and the arrow cluster is where it should be. Why isn't it recommended more? Out of production?
I like the look of it a lot, and I'd but it to try it out if I could find it for sale in the US somewhere...
Anything with ANSI layout? My searches on G80-3000LQCDE all showed pics of ISO keyboards.

I thought the G80-3000LQCDE was more expensive? Or is that just for Americans? :D
I personally don't think it's that bad looking. Just wish it didn't have a trackpad and had ansi layout. That's why I stripped it of it's goods and swapped them into my G80-3494 :D
Maybe in us, 95$ for brand new with shipping from germany to finland. And that price isn't the cheapest, one of the shops which I could read in english...
Poor 8113
Only eu-ansi and german and switcherland models available...

I think you've been hanging out here for too long :D Last time I checked, that country was still populated by Swiss and not Switch, all predisposition for precision mechanics aside...
No, for Americans it's unobtainium. There have been some rumors about G80-3000s being introduced in the US though.
This is what it looks like now :DShow Image(http://geekhack.org/picture.php?albumid=114&pictureid=668)
"not clear board"
Huh?
How do you like them so far?
@Ekaros, could you post pictures please?
I'm considering to put my hands on this.
Also, I wanted to confirm whether is it the US ANSI layout?

I have been typing on ANSI US ever since I used a keyboard.
Recently I tried some Chinese ISO, and the experience was awful.
Anyways, I'd really appreciate it if anyone can point me to a German/Austrian e-tailer that ships worldwide other than computeruniverse.
EDIT: Just any e-tailer that ships worldwide with that particular keyboard would do fine. I know of PCHOME/taobao, but currently searching for cheaper alternatives

Yes, the G80-3000LQCDE-2 is an MX White. Just got my hands on new one. Or atleast I hope it's new ;D
Q indicates browns.
I am searching for a used LQCDE with a reasoneable price for a long time...
@sinis: "Soft-Druckpunkt" is the German description for clear switches. "Klick-Druckpunkt" are Blues, and "Lineare Betätigung" are Blacks. Browns would be "Ergonomischer Druckpunkt" but there are no Cherry keyboards using browns which are being sold in Germany. Browns are available for purchase in America and Asia, but not in Germany.
I'm guessing now, but I feel, like Cherry sells the Browns in place of the Clears outside of Europe, so they might both share the letter "Q"
I hate EU Electronica.
