Hey
What a gem this site was to find
I've been searching and reading and searching and r... dying to get my first small mechanical keyboard with brown cherries
So many questions!
I'm drooling over the Leopold / Archiss KB87.. but can't find it with danish/swedish keys
Should I settle with a US version, and just find some danish keys/stickers (only 3: æøå) and remap some keys?
Could I use any cherry keycaps for this?

Or is the Filco so good that I should just go with a SWEDISH Majestouch tenkeyless
http://www.keyboardco.com/keyboard_details.asp?PRODUCT=807
(less modding needed)
I'm a programmer, and I use another computer with danish ISO keys also.. Would shifting between two layouts (one on each computer) be crazy?
Hope someone can help me out/decide
Thanx

To the sorry-ass 99.995% of you who don't speak Viking-lingo.. google Translate does :)

I'd say go for the Swedish one.
I went with the UK layout mostly because I'll be changing most of the keys with blank caps and I figured there'd be a higher availability of UK boards.
Edit: (I didn't buy a Leopold, but the layout issues still apply)

I actually emailed EK about this. Looking for a norwegian/swedish layout myself. Here is the reply I got:
Hi Howard,
An 88-key ISO layout Leopold is in the works, but there is no ETA at
this time. Please sign up for our newsletter for future announcements.
Best Regards,
Brian

Peter> Hej. Ja, jeg har siddet og sammenlignet iso og ansi flere gange, og prøvet at retfærdiggøre et spontant ansi-køb hehe
Rødgrød med fløde ;)
Ok great Howie. maybe I'll wait for that. If I can...
Or I will just get the swedish Filco
But there's the thing..
Is the Leopold/Archiss absolutely worth waiting or compromising for, or is the Filco better?

From what I've heard the Leopolds are getting attention because they're new and also because it's the keyboard that's "in" this month. Not really different from Filco, except for a detachable cable.
Edit: better wording

Have you looked on Zovie Celeritas? Available with browns and in Danish, though new kid on the field, it atleast has localised layout...
Now, why have I taken upon myself to offer board I don't even have experience with...
OFC, there is the group-order which has double shots available in additional kit in danish too...

Yeah I've seen it, it's mentioned a lot to danish cherry-mech searchers ;)
But apart from the size, the Zowie is just too much of a gaming-keyboard, with blingbling, RTR, "18K Gold Plated mechanical switches" (lol?) ect., and from what I've heard it has not so good keyprinting (or what's the name)
I'm really after just a good, simple and small tenkeyless
