Title: IBM 5150 keyboard 83 key

Will an IBM 5150 keyboard work on a modern PC? What adapter would i need?
How do they compare to a Model M? There alt and ctrl placement seems somewhat awkward.

Welcome to geekhack!

It's a Model F, so it has buckling springs similar to the Model M. Nicer feeling springs, IMO, but a little noisier.

It won't work with a modern PC without an active adapter, which aren't commercially available. There's a Teensy based XT adapter in the wiki if you're determined :)
