*clicks*
Oh, that's still $450, nevermind :P

It's 1920x1200.
And makes me wonder if the pricing is even correct, 449? isn't the proper amount around 374 or so before taxes. The monitor is 100 off from 599 to 499 or does the coupon invalidate the 100 off by dell itself.
You sure you can't use it on the U2410, Says U2410 as well (http://www.techbargains.com/news_displayItem.cfm/246170)
-
NEC has some very nice reasonably priced 23 inch ips monitors and the u2311 is 240$
-
Doesn't seem to work on the U2711. :-/
-
it works fine for me on the u2711. try the below.
http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/sna.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&~topic=ultrasharp_monitor
review checkout, add to cart then input the code

EDIT : If you are from Canada this isnt going to work sorry =(
-
If it works on the U2211H I'll be like "FUUUUUUUUUUU"
-
lol it does.
Price is $209.25

It works, but it excludes the other $50 'discount'.

it takes whichever is the bigger discount
-
Yea but it probably wouldn't work for me - I bought mine through Dell Small Business. Because for whatever reason, it was cheaper than the price on Home/Office.
Go figure.
-
ya, you cant even use that coupon on dell small business =(
-
Now you're starting to sound like me =)
-
Ah, I was trying on the "business" side, where it starts off $100 cheaper. 25% off $1099 is still pretty pricey!
-
You can get 27" monitors all day for around $250-400 if price is all you are worried about but they will be TN panels which are great for gaming but pretty bad for everything else. If you dont mind the AG coating the u2711 for that price is a very good buy for an IPS monitor, checkout the price of the 27" NEC IPS monitors.
-
A $250-400 27-inch monitor is only going to have 1920x1080 resolution, which I could get in a 22 or 24-inch package. I want the extra pixels, not the extra inches. It's like having a huge car that doesn't have any more leg room or cargo space than a compact. :-)
You're right about the AG coating on Dell monitors though. GRRRR, every time I look at buying a new monitor I am left completely unsatisfied with the current state of monitor technology. Maybe I'll just wait another 15 years until we have OLED and then I can be dissatisfied with those.
-
np,
it looks like as usual I will be on the outside looking in, everytime one of these deals comes around I am in between checks, paying bills, fixing the car etc etc etc
-
I just gave you Karma Points. Spendable in your next life.
Or in this one (http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5hnQ2ysZ8dDAV3IPXbBQNQnXaZLFA?docId=6694265f7abc4ef68fb7ac41f918b99b).

im holding off on donations for japan until I get into work tommorow, we normally set them up through my company as we have offices all over the world. I also am really waiting to hear how my offices in Japan are doing as we have 3 in tokyo alone and a bunch of others around the country, I know that we had some damage in our tokyo sea freight office just unsure of the scope of it. What we normally do as a logistics company is buy a couple ocean containers and we fill them up with stuff and send it on its way, we have done it for haiti and chile both since I started.
-
Cool! Every little bit helps.
-
Ripster, post a photo of it!
-
meh I am so sad. not getting mine until this coming week.
cant decide between this and the hp zr30w or maybe like 3 23" / 24" monitors in eyefinity. IDK about the whole eyefinity thing, I really just want one big massive monitor and maybe one next to it in portrait
-
I missed out. I thought the coupon was expiring on the 17th, but it was already gone.
@Ripster: I have a 30" and a 20" at work. Put the 20" in portrait mode and have a amazing 3760x1200 panorama.
-
fwiffo,
the u3011 is on sale still for $1300, its not 1124 but its kinda close I guess.
-
if you do get a portrait monitor to put next to it go for the dell 2007fp its 1600x1200 and in portrait matches up perfectly height and pixel wise.
EDIT : Sorry I keep posting multiple times, kinda tired
-
New code added for 25% off U3011 till March 27th
L2VMG6P9MP2LVB
-
what is the native res for the 2001fp?
-
My Ancient 2001FP matches up perfectly as well. I think you can get them cheap too.
dood
but can it compete with my awesome sauce 2209wa's?
-
looks very nice, although id probly get rid of the ugly 2001fp stand (does it even have vesa holes?)
planning on ordering mine sometime over the weekend if all goes as planned if it doesnt I will probly end up with a HP zr30w which is actually better for games because it doesnt have a scaler but has other drawbacks
-
How sharp are they*?
