Title: Model M and Unicomp, color of the lower part of the keycaps...
Post by: TacticalCoder on Sun, 13 March 2011, 22:40:49
I've got four Model M (real ones) with detachable key caps in two parts (are Unicomp like this too?).

Apparently on a regular "beige" Model M (I've got 1391401s and 1391403s) the smaller part of the keycaps is white when it's underneath the 'F' or the 'J' and grey otherwise.

Is it like that on Unicomp too?

Out of curiosity: would it be doable to find a set of 102 white lower part without having to acquire 51 Model M's ?

:)

I'm typing on a 1391401 and all the bottom keys are gray.

Unicomp uses grey stems on their black/grey keyboards for the keys with nibs, and some midsized keys like Ctrl and Tab.
