If you are OCD... Don't buy two different keyboards at the same time.
I'm stuck with two keyboards in front of me and can't make up my mind on which I'm going to work with.
Lesson learned - give yourself time to digest your purchase before getting into another one.
Or Else - Can't make up my f-beep-ing mind

I'd say use the more expensive one. :D
-
What's the one on top? I say use one for 3 days, then use the other 3 days, then go with your gut instinct regarding which one you prefer.

LoL
I like the flashy one too... (XArmor);
But I can type while on the phone and my girl friend doesn't notice... (RealForce);
But I like the sound of the XArmor;
But the other one is more expensive;
But the RealForce is only 30 Million cycle MTBF;
At 50 Million cycle MTBF, the XArmor it's more economical to type on it;
I haven't blacklight test both surfaces yet for suspicious stain persistence (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061003142037AAmxMIG)
But I'd bet the rubber finish on the XArmor is a PITA to clean.
LoL

XArmor U9BL-S Brown vs RealForce 103UW Variable
Good advice.

Count the number of key-presses that you make and constantly maintain an equilibrium.

Too late for me. I'm already haunting the EK "Check out" again.
In my case however, I want to test a few boards in quick succession for a reason. I need to know what will work for different typing needs, not just for me but for my Wife/Mom too(they'll trial there own). I've done most of my research online and knocked out many but want to test drive the few I kept. Namely, the Topre "variable", Leo Blues/Browns and maybe a Topre 55g someday. I'm sure others will come. I want to play w/tenkeyless(Leos) and some full sized units for ergo/convenience/other pref factors. There's a method to my madness!
-
I suggest one keyboard for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, one keyboard for Tuesdays, Thursday, and Saturdays. Sunday is reserved for Gods, lovers, family and the alike.
Or you may metarmophose into an octopus.

Indeed - Good selection to start with!

Awsome... I wonder if they make apps to count the clicks per devices.
Like what was said previously. "There's a method to madness"

If you ask me, there isn't even a question. Use the realforce.
Then again, I seriously dislike Cherry switches.
But, my SO doesn't seem to mind my Customizer over the phone. I do prefer to use my HHKB when on the phone though, just out of a sense of politeness.
Loves me some Topre and BS.

Swedish researchers at an unnamed university in the nation's capital reportedly stopped seeing what was so bad about OCD after several months of living with it.

Just swap every lunch time.
Oh, and get some more keyboards into the mix - you were going to anyway, right? Might as well get them now.
-
Just swap every lunch time.
That's too often. I like to use one keyboard a week or two before I change it to another.
-
Type with one for a while. Then, when you get bored switch to the other one. Maybe pack one up and leave it with a friend who can ship it to you. That way when you're ready for a new bored you'll get one in the mail.

LoL.
I used the RealForce all day yesterday. This morning it is back in the box. Swiching to XArmor at first felt bad. I got to say... Those damn Topre swiches are addictive. After about an hour, I was enjoying the MX Brown again.
BTW, the Acrylic Roofs (http://www.elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=access,roofs&pid=rfek) sold for the FILCO full-size (104-key) and Realforce 103U keyboards at EliteKeyboards do not fit on the XARmor. They are about 1mm too narrow.
