I got 115, what about you?!
I chose 7.
There is no such thing as Culture Fair tests. Everybody knows Asians are smarter. It's because they spend lots of time in the Library.
This one doesn't factor your age. But the older you get the better it is.
The table is interesting. Smart but unhappy Asians. Dumb but happy Islanders.
Sounds about right.
Microsoft used to ask why Manhole covers are round in their job interviews.
Good boy ;-)
Now try the test and let see if you beat 115... hehehehehe.
BTW I was not expecting people to write their score. 160 or 20000 for that matter is not harder to write.
People can write anything they want. This was not the point.
Do it for yourself, I think it is a good challenge.
I didn't know this test until yesterday. I'm on the short list for a new job. The hiring company asked us do psychometric tests. One of the tests was very similar to this one. They will compile the results of all the tests and select what they think is the best candiate for the job.
Curious, what type of job are you up for that would employ a tool like this in the interview process?
It started the day Canada was formed as a Junior Varsity version of the USA.
Bwahahaha. Everybody knows that the best CEO candidate is ALWAYS the biggest baddest ******* in the room.
I don't believe in IQ tests.
My 9 year old son got 130 on it last night.

Nor do I. They're a measure of how well you do on the test, nothing more. There are more factors than 'intelligence', however that's defined for the purposes of the test (which may not be designed to reflect anything else except the test, regardless of what the small/large print states). It's possible to rehearse the types of questions found in IQ tests and improve your results through familiarity but still be unable to tie shoelaces, boil an egg, or function usefully in society.
I also suspect that being likeable is probably not a test parameter.
I'm a half decent chess player. One of the friends I like to play with almost always beat me when we play blitzes. But he can't beat me if we take the clock out. He would be a better candidate to make difficult calls within 10 seconds. I would be a better candidate if I have 10minutes to make the same calls.
Oh and if you are the smartest dyslexic on earth… You will still fail this test.
Have you read Blink by Malcolm Gladwell?
Or blind, come to think of it.
Anyway, everybody knows the most interesting people are creative, not necessarily smart.
Pre bipolar medication I had a tested IQ of 139. After taking my time doing that I managed a whopping 82. Can't frickin' concentrate or think straight.
You should get a keyboard with 108 keys/JIS layout.
where's the online test to measure my penis?

I thought you were born with an IQ, you can't really change it. Unless this (http://www.davidstuff.com/humor/buffalo.htm) is true. My father and I are both believers in this theory, to the point where we had it framed in the bathroom.
Oh, and averaging this score with previous scores I have gotten, my IQ is around 116.

'IQ' from what I can tell, is total bull****.
When I was 8 I had an IQ of 135 which put me in the top 10% of smartest smarters in the UK... fast-forward to when I was 16 and it dropped to 120(ish)... which means that throughout my education and special needs support I actually got dumber... (My IQ test was redone when I was 8 to make sure it wasn't a mistake or anything)... and then I was told by the person doing it that IQ tests can be effected by age, how well you slept, if your stressed... basically almost anything and everything... which IMO makes them totally meaningless and of no value.

Wow, bit of a flashback right there, going back to 2011...
I tend to agree. The Buffalo Theory makes much more sense...

Oh sorry I didn't notice someone had brought this old thread back :P
I got a 96.
It must due to lack of sleep/diet/anything. Ask my mother! I'm smart! >:D
I got an IQ Score of 126 for this Advance Progressive Matrices Clone. However I got an IQ score of 148 with the Standard Progressive Matrices. Thank you.
