Title: Need Razer DA replacement feet in Canada ricky tick
Post by: Surly73 on Fri, 18 March 2011, 19:55:31
Our DA has suddenly worn through it's feet and is dragging most of its body on my Ratpadz - not very effective.

Hyperglide only sells through FrozenCPU - $12 + $15 shipping to Canada.
Razer sells feet for $9 + $30 shipping to Canada.

This shipping is pissing me off.  It should be $2 for lettermail or $6 for something trackable for a blister pack of mouse feet.  This is out of hand!

Ebay has generic teflon feet for $3 including free shipping to Canada but it'll take a month to get here (already ordered).  I've checked my favourite B&M and online retailers.

Anyone have any ideas that I haven't thought of?  Anyone have any extra DA feet they feel like throwing in a letter envelope for a reasonable price?

Thanks,

As I said in my original post, they want *** $30 *** to ship me a package of feet.  That's not going to happen.  This is part of my rant - Oooh you "ship internationally" - for 10x the price it should be.

I inquired with them about the insanity of their shipping prices and whether they had a Canadian reseller I missed.

They said "we can't match our reseller's prices".  I replied stating that I didn't ask for a price match, there is no reseller, and I had specifically asked to be pointed to one.  They replied to that saying they couldn't help me.  Absolutely fantastic form letter based customer service, Razer.  Way to go.

You should buy the Puretrak Perfect Glide mouse feet. They ship worldwide and only around 2$ shipping cost.

I bought them one year ago and they are fantastic on my Kinzu and Xai. They arrived to Europe in 2 weeks but living in Canada should go faster.

BTW they look cool!

Thank you!  Wonderful!  Perfect!  Set of pads are only $4 and shipping for a set of Deathadder and MX510 (which also needed pads) was $1.30!

Finally a retailer without their cranium up their anus for international shipping.  Now if only I could get my US-headquartered employer to stop considering me "offshore".

I'm glad you found it useful!

I'm actually very happy with the feet replacement and after one year the first set is still working fine LOL
