Title: Repairing the Das Keyboard Mk.1
Post by: Chrontius on Wed, 23 March 2011, 16:21:08
Looking for a new USB cable for an old Das Keyboard.  Plug is shot, but due to the strain-protection design and the plug on the USB cable, what would be an easy solder job has become a far easier part swap.

If I could find the part.

Anybody know where to get a drop-in replacement USB cord?

This board was a Key Tronic OEM job, similar to E3600U2 (http://keyboards.keytronic.com/home/keyboards/keyboards/keyboards.html). Thus I'd guess worst-case cost would be the 20 bucks for a new one of these.
