I once asked them what switches they are using... Never got an answer. Even for April 1st.

Not so sure they don't match my taste, just bought an used G84 to try the ML switches (for a bit less than 1400$)

Any documented evidence to support it?

ML, but keycaps aren't good what I have heard of analyzing...

Ok, they should be the most expensive ones around, but feeling is wrong...

The optimus could be severely improved by changing the type of everything in use lol. If you are going to charge that much for a keyboard, why not get some decent switches? I have an ML board and I hate that thing. I would get rid of it if it weren't for all the work I put into it. All in all though, they really ought to use e-ink (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E_Ink) for the display type. They might not get color, but it would improve so many aspects of the board.

e-ink is slow, and doesn't emit any light.

Do you really want a 1500$ keyboard that is not even backlit ?

Seems like the right solution for legends.

Art Lebedev was disappointing in that video.

Veronica though, never disappoints.

The are not just static legends, a decent display can be used for a wide variety of useful purposes, and also useless but funny, think to a "keyboard saver" or to a keyboard virus with all the keys randomly scrambled or falling, matrix style..

Yes, please.

I'm now, probably at the 10th year of backlit only keyboards.

I really cant think to use a non backlit one other than for affective/historical purposes.

BTW an EL or e-paper low end version can be handy in the office environment.

Lot of disagreement about the shape of the enter key, but widely shared opinion on the shape of Veronica's "trackballs" here, isn't it ?
