Title: Cherry board : Donor of Lasered / Dye Sub keys
Post by: Mazora on Fri, 01 April 2011, 10:06:57
I've found a shop near my house who sell cherry keyboards. Two models are of interest for me: one with Dye Sublimated keys and the other is lasered.

I would like to change my Filco Majestouch 2 keycaps for one of those (20$ each board) but can't decide wich one. But first, is it worth it ? I havent seen the keyboard yet.

Should I do it :S ?

Okay.

I think they are:
  G80-1800LPAUS
  G83-3000SAU

Those dye-sublimation caps sell for 200 US (USED) on eBay ..
GET THEM, SELL THEM and buy a Filco tenkeyless with Cherry Reds or whatever you like,
and use the rest of the cash to buy a set of GH's Selectric/Dolch-caps  is my advice .

( Or keep them, Cherry Dyesubs are awesome caps and extremely rare ! )
