The thick XBMC remote from Pulse-Eight and Motorola, dubbed the Nyxboard Hybrid, works out of the box with the popular media center platform. In fact, it’s the first remote specifically designed for XBMC.
The Nyxboard Hybrid supports IR to function as a universal remote for your TV and includes an RF adapter for operating your home theater device without line-of-sight. The front of the remote features the usual volume and channel rockers, playback controls and a directional pad while the back is occupied by a QWERTY keyboard.
The feature with the coolest potential is a gyroscope, which tells the remote which side is facing upright. That means you can hammer away at the miniature keyboard without triggering an unintended volume change from the buttons on the other side.
Big Ass enter on a remote?
LOL...
Well....
I guess mine COULD be called BigAss.
Mine is more thumb type friendly than a chocolate bar.
Lol - just realized I have a domed Windows key on mine.

It's so thick, it has to be by design.
Judging its size relative to the usb rf adapter, it's about as thick as on 1.5 dvd cases. Testing its height with dvd cases, I can imagine it being very comfortable to operate.
I hope it's balanced and lightweight.
