Title: 87u from leopold
Post by: warealforce on Wed, 06 April 2011, 11:03:11
Could someone please help to confirm if these 2 models of 87u has english letter on it?

The first one--through google translate it says Korean version.  It is hard to tell from pictures, since they use the same jpeg for all 87us

The second one--using google translate again, it says hangul/english, with the picture shown, I assume it has Korean+English engravings.

Thanks a lot for helping a newbie out! :peace:

Do you want to buy it directly from korea or you will use a proxy ?
If you use a proxy (buyfromkorea.com for example), you can ask them if it's US or korean version letters before buying :)

It'll cost like an extra hundred dollars if you use buyfromkorea.com
They charge 40-50 in shipping and plus like another 40-50 for using their services. It's what stopped me from buying a Leopold with Cherry MX Red switches.

Yep it's expensive. Buying from Asia right now is not worth it, even in Japan.
Importing a keybord medium size roof cost 75 euros... -_-

The uniform weighted RF costs $330 off the leopard site...add the broker fee and shipping to that and youll be paying over $400 for a keyboard.

I think our next group buy we should all pitch in for one person's plane ticket to Korea for a day trip. He could go around, buy a bunch of keyboards, stuff 'em in some suitcases, and bring them back!

Has anyone been able to get in touch with buyfromkorea? They haven't been responding to any of my email requests for an estimate.

If anything else, can anyone recommend any other korean proxy buying services?
