The seller seems to think this is likely a production error and the keyboard was unintentionally produced without any printing on the keycaps.  I highly doubt it, being it would have required someone to mistakenly put blanks for all the keys, plus nobody caught it during QC.  I'd say chances are 99% that it was intentional, likely due to a customer's request for an otaku style IBM board.  Or perhaps not original but someone replaced the keycaps and pawned it off as something IBM did.  A bit interesting nonetheless.  But I have my doubts that it'll sell for $500.

500 dollar o-O. I should start a new career selling electronics that didn't get past quality control.

"Yes its a tv without a screen, truly a one off, buy now $13370.70"

Serious though, i also doubt this was an error.

Looks like a unit that never made it through full production for a customer.  Back in the day IBM would do some customization.

Like my Shearson brothers "Bernie Madoff" special.

I will trade you 10 credit default swaps for it!

I have never seen a blank buckling spring board with a European layout. Neither Fentek nor Unicomp sells them last time I checked. Hardly worth $500 though.
