Title: Red Esc and Blue Enter Key for Model M
Post by: NeeGo on Tue, 12 April 2011, 14:36:59
I'm about to get my first buckling spring Lexmark in the mail tomorrow and am looking to buy the red esc and blue enter keys (I swear I saw someone with a blue enter key here, how did you get it?!). I'll most likely be ordering a blank black key set from Unicomp too.

I prefer buying them new so someone could so kindly direct me to the right place to get them. Thanks!

I seem to remember that people were using Rit dye to color their Model M keys.

I have purple keys on mine. Prefer it to the red, personally. And yes, Rit dye all the way.

I got mine from a Dentist here named SKCheng.  He got it from Unicomp.

I'm speechless. Gray is my absolute favorite color and the red/blue is so attention-grabbing, love it.

I happen to have a spare gray (industrial) top, in case you're interested. Unicomp might have more in stock but I doubt it.
