So much for your titanium '7' key!

I would be all over this board if it was plate mounted!! But maybe that's better...I could desolder the switches easier and put clears in. I do want that aluminum casing, though, whenever that's out!

I'm glad it's not plate mounted. I plan to do exactly that, switch out blacks for clears.

What is the usage of the plate mounted. The Cherry origin Keyboard seems not have the plate mounted. The typing feeling when hitting the key cap to the bottom of the keyboard has some different.

Did you increase the price on the Browns by $10?

yes... I have marked the price wrongly before. The coming price of the brown is higher than the blue and black.

They're on eBay (http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=m570&_nkw=poker+keyboard), and he's got them in stock. You'd receive it within 5-7 days of ordering depending where you are.

from what I read on feedback. Aming is really good about shipping.

If you have doubts, I wouldn't worry about it and just order.

May I suggest that anyone that has bought from him put a review up in the review section? This way any Geekhackers that have reservations about buying from Hong Kong have references.

This is what I get for not being here more often.

So recently I've been on my Filco Tenkeyless Blue exclusively.
As much as I like the HHKB layout, I don't see going back to it full-time.  It will join Colemak and reverse motorcycle shifting in the "things I wish everyone used so I don't have to endure the pain of switching back and forth" group.

Now I find myself debating selling my HHKB and buying one of these in Red for $135 shipped.

I like the pre-production looks, but the retail looks nowhere near as good.  ABS, [pad-printed?] white lettering, sticker instead of aluminum plate on the bottom, etc...

What do you guys think?
Also, is $135 shipped fair, or is that just pricing based on such early availability?

EDIT the last remnant I keep from my HHKB is the Ctrl/CapsLock situation, but only because it's easy enough to remap without having to run any software.

Through the group buy you could end up paying $115-$120, so this is a valid option for you. The extra money is the price you pay for getting it fast.

Didn't know there was a group buy... I can wait a bit longer (much longer?) for $20.
EDIT looks like iMav already received AND sold all the Red versions.  Great.

Still not sure though, especially considering I'd want to sell the HHKB to justify this.
I don't even know if I like Cherry Red.  I like Black, but it is too heavy...

Well I've been thinking about buying one of these for a week now and I just saw that 7/8 were sold.  Maybe he has more but I didn't want to risk being left out in the cold.

If I'm satisfied with the poker then I'll probably sell the fullsize G80-3494 to recoup some of the cost anyway.

Andrew, I am selling my spot for the Poker cherry MX Red. Browns are to light for my fingers so I definitely know the Reds will be.

We can work something out, if your hhkb is white and lettered, I will def trade my spot and some money for it.
