Title: Who wants an MY board?
Post by: poco on Tue, 19 April 2011, 00:15:57
I have a suspiciously-labeled "Cherry" MY-7000 board sitting in my living room, waiting for a new place of residence. I purchased it on ebay hoping for double-shot keycaps, but I was gypped, and was sent a board with no Cherry label or S/N (just a handwritten sticker), with lasered keycaps. I'm willing to give it to anyone who wants to pay the $10 or so for shipping, and I'll even let that go if someone wants to trade it for some novelty keys, or a keypuller. I just want to clear up some space in my living room. Anyone interested?

Is it still available? Do you have a pic or two? Does it have Cherry switches?

A Cherry MY board ought to have Cherry MY switches. Check the Cherry "Wiki" page (http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=Cherry+switches+and+boards) for different types of Cherry switches.

Yes, it's still available.

Here's a picture: (Sorry for the low quality, I don't have access to the original at the moment)

bummer..a good hint is to look at the ~ key if the seller doesnt show a label for the board.  The "~" is larger on doubleshot keys
