i am searching for this type of cable
Mini Din 8 pol to PS/2 (Mini Din 6pol)
unfortunately tipro.net is not very helpfull.
refers to dealer they could no deliver such cable.
Preh POS keyboards appear to use the same cable - but are these truly compatibel?
Anyone could help?
Would be also helpfull to know pin assignment

As a matter of fact, there's nothing easier than that: just break off the small plastic "tongue" of a normal PS/2 cable and you get a Tipro cable. That's all it takes. A shame I had to sacrifice a PS/2 cable in good working order to find out ;-)
And - yes, it works. I had a Tipro POS keyboard connected with my computer through such a "modified" cable and was able to reprogram it.
