Nice!

Yeah, I haven't seen better looking wooden keyboards so I don't know what that guy is talking about.  These $1500 Ebay ones with Chiclet keys I thought lacked craftmanship.  Yours are better by far. Cherry wood is a nice match for Cherry MX.

yeah..i saw that on ebay too..
it's good to see. but it looks uncomfortable to use because the keytop is flat and no step sculpture

I would like that board with Black colored keycaps. It is a nice looking wood case.

That's pretty amazing.  I'd watch out for termites or beavers, though.

You could just whittle some new keys in whatever shape you want.

Nice! I had already seen the keyboard in top-gallery on DCInside. Cool to see you post here too. How did you label the keys and how long did the entire project take you?

This is the first wooden board I have seen with key contour.  I am very impressed.  I would love to see a keyboard made of Purpleheart Wood (link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peltogyne)

Yeah I could like that too. Would probably bring cost down as well (selling more units, i would think). Wooden case with normal black plastic keys. Could do a light wood version with beige/cream keys as well.

I think there is a lot of potential in wooden keyboards as a product.  They are eco friendly (depending on the wood) and just plain cool!  If someone could bring the cost below $300, I think the market would really open up, too.  Although, I don't know how they sell currently, so that is just speculation.  I imagine that even at $1K to 1500, there are quite a few silicon valley professionals who would love to have one on their desks.

What a lovely looking keyboard, most of the wooden keyboards I have seen look too fussy, I much prefer this design and workmanship.
