It was sitting hiiiiigh up on a shelf right here at home! I'd forgotten all about until I thought about another old keyboard that I hated all those years ago - because it was way too easy to press the keys. I wanted more force! I wanted feedback! It's still a mystery board because it went away with the computer all those years ago. I'm thinking it was probably Cherry red or something similar - linear action and super light. Funny how I want to try it now, but I honestly really really didn't like it back then.
But I digress.. Today, what I still have is a MCK-101FX:
The Box:

Overhead: Just Ctrl and Alt, nothing more! :)
It has function key templates for WordPerfect and Lotus 1-2-3. I only have the single template (double-sided) but you can get more and hide them under the cover.

Keys! *click*click*click*
They're clicky alps of one type or another. Is the only way to tell them apart is by opening them up? I have to say though, that having tried a bunch of Cherry and Alps switches, none of the alps that I've tried really do it for me. It's back to rotating on a few Cherry types.

The caps are double shot English and printed for Chinese.
Mode switch! This thing was switchable AT/XT and it's not even a DIP switch but an actual sliding switch.

Very nice, the doubleshot caps with chinese lettering along should fetch you a pretty penny if you ever decide to sell them.
Are the chinese legends dyesubbed or pad printed? Definitely a great find!

I think they're pad printed. They seem to have a shine to them and look like it's on the surface. There doesn't seem to be anything protecting them though, so I'm not sure how long they'll last in regular use.
