I just received my brand new model M i bought from a thread of rispter on ebay, I always wanted to try the buckling springs and i didn't know what it feels exactly, I was very close to get a unicomp but for the same price I got the classic model M so i guess I am really happy.
I have to say that the keys are a little bit stiff, requires more force to press, its like a lighter black mx with clickyness...

for every keyboard lover, I think a model M is a must have~

i thought it was stiffer than black ?

I want to have IBM M too. Will get it as soon as I feel like it.
But there are many models right?
Which one is you recommend? Like the best quality overall and the typing feeling and the general overall?

Pretty much all the same in terms of typing feel. Differences between Unicomps and early IBMs and late IBMs are pretty subtle, really. Unicomps are slightly lighter in keyfeel by about 5g, but nothing really earth-shattering.
Quality, well, the early IBMs were almost certainly better (thicker steel plate, nicer printing). But again, there's not much in it.
If you want to be safe, get a Unicomp. They're not too far off an early IBM M, and because they're brand new, you know the rivets will all be OK. Plus you can get USB version or a 104-key version with Meta keys if that's what floats your boat.

But it doesn't matter, as I am actually a Serbian ninja in disguise.
