Hi Geekhack, this will be my first post here and hopefully all goes well. I received a brand new Noppoo Choc mini keyboard as a gift. Unfortunately I use a Mac! I play Starcraft all the time and my significant other wanted to give me a decent keyboard. There is no returning it because it was shipped from China and she's pretty bummed. I will include pictures if anyone is interested in buying (it's never even been used once). It cost $89 + $25 shipping but I will ship anywhere in the US for $100 flat. I will include photos of the keyboard (poor quality cell phone sorry) but it has just been plugged in once.

What switches does it have?

Sorry, I don't know a whole lot on this subject. Cherry Linear? N Key? I Took a key off and the part under the key is black. I have seen others that are brown and red etc...Hope that helps :/
-
Sorry to break the news to you, but not a lot of people prefer the Cherry MX Black. The force required to press it down is a lot more than the other types! Hopefully you will find one and good luck!

Way to thread crap... This is an awesome keyboard, I just used mines to play starcraft 2. Welcome to geekhack and I am sure for the right price this keyboard will get bought :)
-
how much if you're willing to sell it?
-
Hi, thanks for the responses. I was hoping to trade it for a mac compatible mechanical keyboard.
-
Honestly you'll have much more luck trading it for cash and then trading that cash for a mac compatible.
Think of it this way.... how many people with mac compatible keyboards will be looking for a keyboard that is not mac compatible? That's going to be a pretty small subgroup.
-
Yeah, you guys are right. It was purchased for $89+$25 shipping. I will sell it for $100 flat and that will cover shipping as well. I think thats a decent deal. Anyone interested? :0

Would be best to edit your first post (and thread title, hit 'go advanced') to reflect the new terms of the deal and you'll get more hits. Title should include switch type and price.

^ and some pictures of the board. Pics always help with the sale.
-
That of course depends on the buyer... maybe they don't want you opening the new un-used box. Always a hard decision.
-
My bad, I didn't realize it was sealed. Oh well, take the picture of the box then. lol

See, that's what I get for fixing clusters, reading forums, and researching HiFi at the same time...
