Heh, ultimate just means cherry blue, its just marketing lingo.
Nope, it means that the keys are blank.
I'd probably get the ultimate version. Why would you say that?
With the education discount it's hard to beat (assuming you like shiny).Yeah i really wouldn't mind the shiny coating on my keyboards. Also newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823830003&cm_re=das-_-23-830-003-_-Product) is having a 20% off and shipping is only 2 dollars.
Why would you say that?
One of our members wants to keep it looking like that with a Keyboard Kondom.
Unfortunately this is more real life.Show Image(http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3444/3993982160_9908e6d619_b.jpg)
First off, welcome to GeekhackI know what you mean i actually was reading your post a day or two ago. But i cant justify spending $160-170 on a keyboard that i have never tried. I am actually having a hard time justifying buying a keyboard for $110 that i have never seen, used or even touched. I have never even used a cherry brown keyboard before. I am just basing my purchase on the reviews from geekhack and overclock.
I was in the same position you are now, I was whiling to spend 110$ maaaaybe 130$ also, I was looking for the same keyboard but the ultimate version, with the blank keycaps and ended up getting enough money to get a filco, and since I speak spanish and live in south america, I wanted the 105key layout, so now I'm about to spend 250$ for it including shipping and the infamous taxes the president just raised -.-
LOLOL in fact, that looks more like real darth vader keyboard on the battle field ^_^
grab the brown filcos off amazon
