Title: Laptop batteries, where to buy
Post by: Ekaros on Thu, 26 May 2011, 03:22:10
I need new battery for my Lenovo 3000 V200, but local sellers ask around 80€ for one, ebay offers <30€, still not sure which site to trust. Anyone know any trustworthy sources for batteries?

80 € is not too bad.

Duracell sell a clone for 87 €

I like the Ebay Chinese ones.

Good for blowing up planes.

My main concern, other one is my being poor...

Hmm, hack might work, due to the shape and such I won't prefer doing it...

Another reason to buy AMD APU NotBooks.

Cheaper to throw them away and get a new one when the batteries run out.

Kinda like HP Inkjet printers.

I went for HP ColorLaserJet, 99€ "750" pages, I can throw that out once it's dry ;D

Don't you guys have any recommended sources for buying lithium-ion cells?

I might as well practice on an old PowerBook G3 battery that lasts all of eight minutes off of AC. The charge controller might still be good. If it succeeds, it might increase the resale value significantly, or at least make it useful.
