Title: what is a good left hand mouse?
Post by: FinancialWar on Sat, 04 June 2011, 13:24:23
hi, I am using left-handed version of deathadder at the moment, however I found that there are too few buttons compared to other gaming mouse and it is also wired. I wonder if there are other left handed gaming mouse around, something like the logitech G700 but for the left hand or something.

DA3.5G is the best you're going to get as far as ergonomic mice go.

I don't think there are any left handed ergonomic gaming mice besides the DA. If you were to go with symmetrical mice, there are still no mice that have as many buttons as the G700, but the Razer Lachesis would have 9 Buttons and the Microsoft Sidewinder X3 has 7. They are both wired though.

The only wireless gaming mouse that's not right hand only would be the Razer Mamba, which has 5 buttons like the DA.

I own three Lachesis and they're my favorite mouse of all time, I mouse left handed.

Lachesis (got 2 of them Lachesis 1 and Lachesis 5600) all the way down, if you like claw-grip. Else there is no other good choice for left handed palm-grip user like the DA3,5.

No reason not to just stick with the DeathAdder.

This might not be helpful at all but there isn't a good left-hand mouse. There might be some OKayish right-hand ones but I couldn't tell.

If you're a palm gripper, I can't help you but if you prefer claw or fingertip grip, then IMHO non-profiled (somebody should get a Nobel's prize in marketing for the term "ambidextrous" in this context) mice are better. I swapped hands as a kid (I started off being left-handed, they made me switch because apparently I wasn't being consequent enough to be left alone; what remained for a time was the ability to use the left hand for certain sorta-precise purposes) and it worked great on an old-style not so tall non-profiled mouse. I think I prefer non-profiled mice anyway, regardless which hand.

I'm afraid that what you want is not in production.

The new G300 is ambidextrous and has a lot of buttons, but is corded.

The MX620 is a good mouse but can't be suggested if you like high dpi.

to answer my own question.

Naga 2014 left handed edition is the best mouse ever, left or right.
