Hi everyone,
at the moment I connect my keyboards with such an AT PS/2 adapter here:

but it is not running fine with every model. So I was thinking of other alternatives to use them on my current PC. I had a PCI card in mind featuring this slot, but havent found one for a decent price.
Can anyone point me into the right direction?
Kind regards,
Azrael

kishy, i had the phenomenon that one of my keyboards were missing some keystrokes when using the "AT to PS/2 adapter". I connected an alternative adapter (same model but only bought it recently) and it worked fine mostly. I can only imagine that the old connector has had some kind of defect, what do you think?
ripster, you are a mysterious guy, I always only understand half of what you want to tell me :)
When I see that correctly this blue cube is for PS/2 connections only. Im not sure how that can help me in this case. Do you mean that an additional connection via USB will improve the situation?

My wife doesn't think I'm mysterious at all.
But then again, she hardly knows you! Given how much time you spend on OCN.

This is an adapter for PS/2 keyboards...Maybe I explained it bad. What I wanted to say, is that I dont have any problems with connecting PS/2 devices to my PC, I have a PS/2 slot that works perfectly fine: What I am experiencing problems with is the AT keyboards. DIN AT.

I understand. Thank you for your thoughts.

This thread is pretty good comedy.

Azrael, the keyboards that don't work with your AT-to-PS/2 cable might be XT keyboards, which use the same connector as AT keyboards but are not directly compatible. First check these keyboards for an "XT/AT" or "PC/AT" switch on the side or bottom and make sure it is in the "AT" position.
