I am in the process converting one of my Das II with blue to black.  I harvested the black switches from a Wyse terminal keyboard dated 1983.

We have higher standards here at Geekhack.

It wasn't that bad.  The Wyse I desoldered all the black switches already and threw away the case, the motherboard, and the plate.  Keeping the discolored double-shot keycaps.

I think the same thing about blacks and typing every time I show up to work drunk.

It's great. I always type harder when I'm drunk, so the stiffness of blacks help even things out.
