Title: buying from elitekeyboards.com
Post by: minsoOON on Sun, 12 June 2011, 22:19:48
Hi, I'm really new to the mechanical keyboard world. I'm really interested in getting a Filco, Das, or Leopold. I'm kinda leaning towards getting a Leopold because it's the cheapest at elitekeyboards.com. Is there any other place to find those keyboards at a cheaper price besides $109 at elitekeyboards?

Thank you for the help guys, I really appreciate it. I really want a non otaku keyboard but seems like that's the only one in stock. Is there a a way to replace the key caps for cheap? oh and btw can someone please explain to me what doubleshot is and what the benefits are?

To be honest, you'd wind up paying more for an otaku and a set of new keycaps than you would just getting a Filco off Amazon (which are still in stock last I looked).

I ordered few times from EK. They made a mistake once and fixed it in no time. Very pleased with the store.

I've ordered three keyboards from them, my first Filco and two Leopolds.  They have much better packaging for they keyboards than Amazon that's for sure.
