Is it because of the new cherry red keyboards ?
-
topre sales in classified probably
-
Maybe. Maybe they buy it to try it, decide they don't like, and figure they can sell it here for most of what they paid. It generally works that way, too.
I mean, we might as well comment on a lot of Cherry sales. Or a lot of Filco sales. Or a lot of IBM sales. It's the classified section, it's there so we can try keyboards without much pressure, selling those we don't like. I know I've used it that way with the different cherry switches I've tried.
-
More topre sales in the classified here most likely due to the non-returnable policy on them at EliteKeyboards. Pretty much most of the others can be returned where purchased.
-
I was talking about the classifieds yes ... I rarely check the forum, but a year or two ago there were almost no topre kb's for sale. :)
-
I bought a Realforce variable and liked the key feel but not the variable weighting. Bought a HHKB and now need to dump my realforce.
I can understand why someone could have buyer's remorse ... at that price, if it isn't EXACTLY what you want, well - its a shame.
-
yea, because they had no 45g uniform!
-
You can get a 45g uniform if you e-mail Leopold.
-
I'll get an iso 45g from keyboardco soon in tenkeyless, super-raaaare

Tough economic times could be contributing to the situation also. A $275 keyboard may seem like a good idea when you have a steady paycheck, but for folks who suddenly find themselves laid off it looks like half a car payment sitting on your desk.
