Anyone tried doing this? I want to remove some blemishes and some very unsightly scratches off my das professional s silent keyboard.

Also is there any way to remove the black acryllic covering without voiding the warranty?

I think he just means the top glossy part of the housing

I'm not sure how they can tell but opening the housing voids the warranty, period.

It's strange because that whole upper right corner is translucent to a degree but directly over the LEDs, it's opaque with the Num, cap and scroll lock symbols transparent. You can see it if you look at it at a steep angle

What do you mean remove the black acryllic covering?

ripster did the acryllic finish have anything left on it after you used the polish? Like did it still leave behind scratches or blotches?

I am only asking because I dont have novus at home, and it would mean I would be ordering it specifically for this purpose.

Might as well just sand down the gloss finish. No point if you can't enjoy the keyboard for what it is.
