FYI
This is pretty nice...and pretty pricey. It does NOT use heat, so it can be done to computer plastics, stainless steel, aluminum, glass, etc. on computers, phones, keyboards, etc. They will color the keycaps and engrave and color the legends too! It is a coating. I'm considering using this for my Kinesis mod. I have an idea for an engraved logo. Yea, it's turning out THAT nice :)

Also, there were pics on GH about a year ago showing 2 keyboards painted with an automotive-grade paint. I wonder how those held up?
Rit-Dye my ass.

I just called, and they only offer the items on their website with the color coating. :(

Lol...don't understand why they couldn't do any keyboard if they can pull off the apple wireless keyboard...did they have a "good" reason?

They said the keyboard was the hardest thing they've done, and they would only do that particular model, basically because they sort of "had to". The process is a nightmare for them.
Totally took the wind out of my sails. But I guess I saved a couple hundred bucks.

I thought it looks killer, and I wanted to custom finish my modded board, so I'm disappointed :( I may try an automotive paint job, I'm waiting to here back from someone on this forum that did it over a year ago.
