Hello,
I would like to know if I can clean the lettering on a steelseries 6Gv2.
It's looks like this (not mine but same problem. S, D letters) :

Tried some water but didn't work.
Thanks

Do you mean just clean the keycaps or remove the white paint of the lettering?
-
I mean cleaning the keycaps only. The letters are not as white than when I bought it even if I wash my hands before using my keyboard. :)
As you can see, S and D letters are more grey than the other letters.

My WASD cluster looks worse than that on my SteelSeries 6gv2, it's not due to fingeroils, but wear on the keycaps. They seem to be pretty low quality.

Use some ammonia based cleaners like Glassex (Windex if you are in the US) and a cloth.
If not enough try with hydrogen peroxide
-
damp a cloth with some isopropryl alcohol and clean it with that

yuck what is that layout? I feel like vomitting looking at that zqsd cluster

AZERTY layout. French thing. I dig the page up and down buttons.

For that very reason I now use Ninja keycaps.
The keycaps will be shiny after some months, but there will be no letter paint wearing.

Are they just dirty or wearing off entirely?

Alright thanks for advices. I don't really know what it is. I first tought it was dirt but even after cleaning the keyboard immediatly after use it doesn't seem to remove.
I'll try some of the products mentionned and if it doesn't work i'll buy some blank keycaps too.
