Yeah, anyone know what font they use for the filco decal on the keyboards?
-
Thanks, you mean this one? http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=All+About+Keys
I don't seem to be able to find the font mentioned. I don't mean the font of the keys, but literally the "filco" logo on the keyboard.

Sure. Click on my sig
Sig ?

I have about 10,000 fonts from doing commercial design work. Let me trawl through them and see if I come up with anything.
-
neuropol was the closest font that I have, but not a match. I have a font called filco olde style. That was not even remotely close.
-
The closest MS-Word font is Gulim.

Thanks for checking guys, neuropol does come really close. I found another one that matches a bit more: Korataki Regular (http://www.fonts.com/findfonts/detail.htm?productid=377081)
On a related note. Does anyone know if removing that logo would be reasonably easy?
Looks identical to to the leopold one I found a pic of:

Perhaps heating the adhesive up a bit with a hair dryer and pushing it to loosen it up?

Looks a bit like this font. Don't know if there's capitals but check the "o" "L" and "c"

^There you go. Reverse the seven and extend the bottom arm, make the I solid and it's perfect.
-
Oh they didn't use adhesives, that's nice. I thought they'll opt for a cheaper and easier mold for the case.
I also didn't know that elitekeyboards doesn't ship those leopold stickers. Lame.
-
I thought the Leopold badge only came with the limited edition keycaps? No logo is a 'feature' on the Leopold.
-
Makes you wonder why they try to take that "feature" away with those keycaps :)
-
I like the no logo clean look of my leopold :)
-
Sorry to ask, but is there a community issue with Elitekeyboards or is everyone joking? It seems like everyone picks on them.
