Bidding is starting at $50 with $100 BIN.
Seems like a good price, especially if it's in the condition that the seller claims (like new).

It might be the lighting, but it looks a littl yellow to me.

Damn fine keyboards. Good luck to bidders ;)

Great board, one of my best finds before I sold it. The Windows key version is superior, IMO.
-
I just noticed the arrow layout on that thing. It's not inverted t....

That guy's got no right to charge $25 to ship just a keyboard. It costs less in postage and packaging to ship a whole computer than that!
-
I almost bought it if it's not for those weird arrow keys. I wonder if shipping charge is part of ebay seller fee. If it's not, that would be one way to avoid paying fee. $1 item with $20 shipping and seller only has to pay fee for selling $1 item.
-
mmmty that used to be how it worked. Now they take ebay fees out of all money that goes to you. And paypal takes their fees (read: owned by ebay) from all money that makes it to the seller. You pay ebay their fees after the fact using whats left of your money.
The seller is in canada, I wouldn't expect super cheap shipping. And I'd like to know how a desktop system with all the parts in it is cheaper than that, every time I've sent one it was at least $30 using the cheapest methods at usps.

I thought that the Omnikey was fully programmable. So, it doesn't matter what layout the navigation keys are, since you can just program it to whatever you'd like.
(I'm not sure about that, I've never tried to program an Omnikey personally.)

Why do all the great old complicated white ALPS keyboards have that horrid enter key? It makes me a sad panda. I just want a 101 key ANSI layout with clicky white complicated ALPS. Is that so hard to find?
-
Why is the bigass that bad? This even has a standard sized backspace.
-
The only problem I can see with this board is they shrunk the right shift for |\ because of the bigass enter which is a no-no in my book.
That's a big part of it. I have too much muscle memory regarding the key that enter takes up, and I hate it when things are moved around on me like that, for no valid reason that I can ascertain. I can sort of see it from an accessibility perspective, but then the rest of the keyboard makes no sense, but...

There were a few Leading Edge boards with proper enter keys. Other than that, you could mod an AT101W or an AEKII.
-
I really need to just find an AT101 (no W), and mod that. I'll get it eventually, I'm sure.
-
I thought I understood that the 101w was generally considered superior to the previous version, one reason being that it can't be used with even a blue cube for some reason.
-
Possibly, but I absolutely hate that stupid windows key getting in my way. It's just a weird thing I have. I bought my new Unicomp in a 101 model, specifically for that reason.
And there were 2 versions of the AT101 that I'm aware of, defined visually by the logos, and they use different switches. The old ones use pink ALPS, if I remember correctly, and have issues, while the newer ones were black ALPS, I believe, and as far as I know work just fine with adapters.
Either way though, both are hard to find.
