"May be either blue or grey label. We will not open to check." But why?!
-
Because then it wouldn't be "NIB" I guess.
-
It wouldn't be NIUB, at least.
-
Then it might not auction for 5 billion dollars!

5 days left and already it is pushing 250 USD... Lulz.
-
I think I'll wait until the prices drop before I get one.
-
Prepare for a long wait ;)

Or until Unicomp decides to make one

Prepare for a long wait ;)
O.. I can wait

Sit on the bank of the river and wait for the IBM SSK...

What's the panic? They weren't that rare last year.

Seems that SSK prices have dropped recently, though that's for used SSKs. There haven't been many NIB SSKs available to notice any downward trend in those. This (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190551849258) used SSK went for $107.50. I think that's a new record low for this year for a normal one where there was bidding on it and not a BIN.
-
Went for 320$... That is a bit less than comptek's prior few auctions.
-
I paid $350 for my NIB SSK in late May. $320 is a good deal, especially from comptekw2k.
Looking at the bid history, there was no last second sniping. Only one bidder tried to test the the eventual winner's maximum bid about 10 minutes before the end time, $10 at a time. The maximum bid was not exposed, so it could have gone higher. If it wasn't for that "tester", it would have gone for $280.
Cue Ripster's supply and demand graph.... :)

The mensa midget hates it when I post that meme and yells at me so no more memes.
This? :peep:

I have an opportunity cost in mind: buyer's remorse.
-
But seriously, not sure if it is really a meme. This auction illustrates how lack of bidders (demand) and a flood of SSKs (supply) are affecting the market price of SSKs on ebay. The graph depicts this market condition correctly.

Haters' gonna hate. Skaters' gonna... face-plant. Keep posting, ripster. For noob education! The 20% must continue to teach the 80%.
-
only a matter of time when they'll start selling for under 100 again.
