Title: Safe Way to Strip Paint from ABS?

I've seen several suggestions online, ranging from using DOT brake fluid to citrus based "Goo Gone" to Isopropyl alcohol. Any suggestions?

I used mineral spirits based paint thinner before and it worked fine.
