I wanted to ask if anyone has ordered blank PBT caps from Signature Plastics to fill in for missing Doubleshot keys.
I just got a set of Doubleshots and put them in a Filco Majestouch. They're in the default colors (white/beige) on the black Filco board. Some keys obviously didn't fit, so I'm stuck with a few black keys. Unfortunately, I've been told that SP can't match these colors in the PBT variety, and wondered if anyone had done this before. Will it look shoddy if I try for an off-color grey PBT?
Should I just wait for another group buy instead?
Thanks.

What did you get the doubleshots from? Depending on what they were from and what color you're talking about sp may have a match. If you're worried about it not matching you could always make it not match on purpose and do rgb modifiers for example.

Thanks for the reply lysol,
I got some caps from a g80-3000ish from TaoBao. All of them fit except the bottom row and the capslock. The RGB is a good suggestion, but I'd rather not go with multiple colors. Plus, there's the issue of the spacebar anyway.
Melissa from SP said that they have a GAW color in ABS which matches the beige color of my keys. She said they don't have that color in PBT. I'm sure I could get something pretty close though in PBT?
Thanks again.

I'm not sure why you would want PBT if you're looking for the best match. Cherry doubleshots are ABS.

Really?
I guess I misunderstood the difference then. Mine has a light grainy texture to it - I was under the impression that meant it was PBT.
I thought ABS was very smooth.

Clear plastic keys are confirmed ABS by SP.
