What store was this?  I would've been like WTF! lol  Anyway, if you're in or close to L.A., I'll let you try my Filco blacks.

I'm selling some TG3 boards for parts, $15 shipped to you. Not sure if that's what you want though...

I'm in Illinois.  The store was Micro center.

I see.  Around here we raise hell if they don't let us try it out first. lol  Anyway, you should consider picking up REVENGE's board.  You can't beat $15 shipped.

My microcenter no longer has models either. Apparently they were walking off or breaking too much or something so they stopped doing it (I asked, since they used to have it). And shelf space. But I was asking about mice at the time, since I don't remember actually seeing any mech boards.

Yeah, the Meka TT (black) didn't have a gap in the package to touch the keys.  The Razer Widow (blue) let you touch some of the keys to see what it felt like.  In the few seconds that I tried the blacks I was like "WTF - these are barely stiffer than my browns."

I really enjoy bottoming out keys though - to me that is where I get my "click" from.  The blues on the other hand felt fragile for some reason.

My Das with blues is definitely chattery, I'm not sure how much of that can be attributed to the keys bottoming out, some wiggle, the material of the caps and the actual clicky mechanism, but I LIKE it. :-)  May swap over some of my PBT caps to see if that changes the sounds at all.

Just wait for the MicroCenter staff shift change and do it again.

This also works for Forum Moderators.
LMAO best advice!
